“Okay so how about this motto: ‘If you are unhappy for any reason, we will feel really bad’.” This cartoon demonstrates an “easy way out” of dealing with a hard to please customer. If a customer is unhappy, as a customer service expert, yes, you may feel bad for the unhappy customer but you need to come up with the best solution to fix whatever problem they are experiencing. To be successful with this, offer customer engagement to find out what you and the customer can agree on.
